All Things New
© March 2, 2007, Roy Stucky

Our hands in the air -
Outsiders just stare
At the worship we offer the King.
The facets rejoin
Both side of the coin
As we mint the Bride's wedding ring.

There's a joy past the world's understanding.
From this day there's no reprimanding us.
Holy Groom catch Your Bride who is waiting -
Through the ages anticipating You.
Behold You make all things new.

Praise the Lamb Who is risen.
Bring the Guests He's bidden in.
How we thirst for the living water
In this land of wicked slaughter's sin.

There's a joy past the world's understanding.
From this day there's no reprimanding us.
Holy Groom catch Your Bride who is waiting -
Through the ages anticipating You.
Behold You make all things new.

When the mystery has unfolded
Each redeemed will wear a golden crown.
When the host of heaven gather
God will smile to hear our sound.

There's a joy past the world's understanding.
From this day there's no reprimanding us.
Holy Groom catch Your Bride who is waiting -
Through the ages anticipating You.
Behold You make all things new.

The unity destined for the Bride of Christ has no secular counterpart. From a materialistic standpoint there is nothing new under the sun, but in Jesus our spiritual life is utterly new.

Worship is part of what the world does not comprehend. God does not need us to tell Him anything, so the praise is, obviously, for our benefit. We praise God so that we get it inside our heads and hearts how we stand in relationship to God. Once you understand Who God is, and who you are, it cannot be more obvious than that God should be praised because He is worthy of praise.

Facets is that we are parts of one gemstone. Our differences are in fact what allow us to be part of the same gemstone.

Both sides of the coin is that two-dimensional contradictions are in fact unified in Christ's three-dimensional kingdom. That unity is the coin of the realm.

Mint is that the manifestation of our marriage to Jesus is not just any symbol, but is created by the authority of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Reprimanding is that the misunderstanding and condemnation of the world is of no significance to those who obey God. We are not subjects of this world's authority.

Through the ages is the we have understood for two thousand years that such unity in the Bride of Christ is coming. Let the world mock what they do not understand. God is not late.

Living water is the river that flows from under the Throne of God in the New Jerusalem, as depicted in Revelation 22:1-2.

Wicked slaughter is that humanity from Cain and Able has shed rivers of blood.

Mystery is that the world by 'wisdom' rejected Jesus. Had hate-God understood the mystery of Jesus, he would not have had Jesus illegally crusified. (I Corinthians 2:6) Further, the nature of Heaven is not something we can understand, but when we stand on the sea of glass before the throne in Heaven we will understand.
