Talk about what lies beneath the surface.
Seek the face that hides inside the veil.
Walk around and look behind the curtain.
Wizards change and wizards weep and fail
To do what little lies within their reach.
Seek the truth ignored by fashion merchants.
Talk about the words that go unsaid.
Turn around and ask the central question.
Spirits carry burdens made of lead
That only melt through tongues of fire on each head.
Deep inside abides God's holy image,
Although the face is not what you'd expect.
We're held blameless though we're stone cold guilty.
Instead of good God calls us His elect.
