On a literal level the song is about lava flows encountering the sea. That encounter is violent, but the sea always wins.

"Invincible" is how hate-God looks (and is) to mortals. But God reigns.

"Stone in liquid state" is that hate-God walked up and down amid the mountains of the stones of fire, but nonetheless failed.

"Granite" is artistic license. The rapid cooling of the lava when it meets the sea forms basalt. This is to say our life begins on the Rock where our sin was quenched.

"Mass" is the church ceremony as well as synonym for large. Together with "Glass" you have the congregation in Heaven worshipping God on the sea of glass.

"Silence" is that we will outlive this present darkness. After the tumult of a world of entropy ruled by sin, the Kingdom of Heaven brings peace.

"Water" is the Living Water that represents the Bride of Christ. We are not powerful contained and isolated, but when we flow together nothing can long defeat us.

"Running down" is the New Fire of the Holy Spirit, where a bush burns but is not consumed, where tongues of fire anoint heads gathered together in one accord.

"Spectacular" is that hate-God puts on a good show with his beast, but he won't be staying long.

"Talon" is that the modern world of power easily convinces itself to forget that when Hell lays its hand on the lost, they are utterly helpless.
