Predator album video backstory.

MAN from Hutchinson has an uncle die during the 2008 Olympic Games in China. Uncle had been a F-86 Sabre pilot in Korea, a B-52 Stratofortress pilot in Vietnam, and an SR-71 Blackbird pilot in between. He had then worked at NASA nearly up to the day he died. Divorced in an ancient past, and childless, he had prearranged to have his body sent back to Hutchinson. The funeral (see lead-in to Art of Pantomime) was held in the church on the NW corner of Main and 17th. (so MAN can later walk to Cosmosphere but not too easily) After the funeral, one of MAN's aunts walks up and hands him one of Uncle's war medals. She said Uncle had stipulated that it go to MAN. MAN walks around a bit, and puts the medal in his pocket. It is at this point that he has his encounter with the mirror, and with the pretty girl who turns his head. And breaks his heart. (see end of Art of Pantomime).

He crosses the intersection south then east, and walks to his apartment at, say, 12th and Locust St. (MAN is somewhat estranged from his parents) After seeing the TV juxtaposition (see Donner Party & LA Riot, then The Dark Wall), MAN walks to Cosmosphere, where he feels close to Uncle. (see lead-in to Misasa Bridge all the way through lead-out from Finest Hour) Then he goes for a walk listening to ear-buds to try to come to some type of resolution. (see Not Flesh & Blood).

( see novel, Transapparent )

Art of Pantomime song video lead-in.

MAN sits in a pew during a funeral in a church. Coffin is visible at front of church between right shoulder of a man and the left shoulder of a woman in the pew in front of MAN. A very young baby held by the man looks over his right shoulder at MAN, such that the baby and the coffin are in the same frame. Slow zoom until baby's face is frame left and coffin is frame right.
