The insanity of modern society is evident. In our quest, originally, for Truth, for Enlightenment, we have done away with Truth. In our efforts to attain certainty, we buy into ideologies that are now so far removed from the original standard of being observable, tangible, that only the runes of mathematics can describe them. In the process, where is my humanity to reside? What benefit has modern society brought me if I am to believe that all I believe is a delusion?

"Calculus" is that all which is truly human is beyond the realm of formula.

"Despair" is the coin of the modern realm, namely nihilism.

"Future unknown" is that none of these modernists have any idea where their efforts are leading. For direction they have nothing more than science fiction fairy stories about the coming Utopia. After Auschwitz and Hiroshima, only the utterly deluded believe such superstition.

"Abandons foundations" is the 'chronological snobbery' described by C.S. Lewis, where what is old is bad because it is old. Is this not obviously foolish? Families are old, yet good, while neutron bombs are new, but bad.

"Hollow" is the modern nihilist. Nothing if not nothing.

"Never were living" is that after purging away all those nasty superstitions, nothing was left. But they are proud that since we were never anything but accidental bags of water anyway, we lost nothing.

"Herd" is the idea that you should only accept as real what is generally accepted by the community of scientists. Have they shown themselves so infallible you would be wise to hand over your brain to their brand of determinism?

The great society of free thinking herd animals have nothing to offer you. They have no place for you. They say you should tell your government to give them stacked billions of dollars for their research. Money taken from you by force by your government. If you think that overblown, tell the IRS you are not going to pay your taxes any more. These same people will then turn around and mock the church for asking for offerings. Who are the hypocrites again?
