My thoughts seem to chase one another around.
My steps seem to wear down the same patch of ground.
The years of my life have been pattern entwined -
Encoded by keys that are locked in my mind.

I shook down some books to untangle my ways.
Perhaps someone's line will make sense of this maze.
Each word fires a flash on the things it collects,
A passage of portraits each sentence connects.

Experience explosions
Are what propel
My mind outside
My gravity well.

Each word recognition produces a frame
Of captured encounters who go by that name.
A sentence assembles the cinema scroll
Projected inside on the screen of my soul.

Experience explosions
In parallel
Take me beyond
My gravity well.

They speak about caution caressing a rose.
They talk about wings and I have two of those.
Relations off camera now take center screen -
Arrangements that color what everything means.

A directed dream.

Experience explosions
From what you tell
Help me escape
My gravity well.

The stars that await if I come up to speed
Reflect on the pool at my level of need.
The substance I've gathered holds rockets in seed
If I knew the sequence of how to proceed.
The cell detonation by word pioneers
Sets free those who long to break though their veneer.
My sentence of exile on one lonely sphere
Is broken by news from the human frontier.

Experience explosions
Are what propel
My mind outside
My gravity well.
